Overall, the Month-to-Date and Year-to-Date returns printed at -0.09% and -2.70%, respectively.
The total volume of trades dropped by 60.22% to c169.3 million units while total value was down by 27.92 to NGN 1.42 billion, which were exchanged in 4,553 deals.
The most traded stocks by volume were Transcorp (c28.54 million units), Zenithbank (c16.59 million units) & Honyflour (c13.23 million units) while the most exchanged stocks by value were Zenithbank (cNGN 398.20 million), SEPLAT (cNGN 128.78 million) & GTCO (cNGN 111.27 million).
On sectoral basis, the contractions in the Banking (-0.12%) & Consumer (-0.06%) sectors outweighed the expansion in the Insurance (+1.87%) sector.
