Consequently, the NSE ASI expanded by 0.18% with Month-to-Date and Year-to-Date returns printing at -1.13% and -2.13%, respectively.
The total volume of trades decreased by 8.51% to 296.60 million units, valued at NGN3.36 billion and exchanged in 4,265 deals.
ACCESS was the most traded stock by volume at 58.56 million units while ZENITHBANK was the most traded stock by value at NGN609.74 million.
On sectorial performance, the expansions in the Industrial (0.70%) and Insurance (1.27%) sectors outweighed the contractions in the Banking (-0.33%), Consumer (-0.02%) and Oil & Gas (-0.14%) sectors.
